HIGH-SPEED CRAFT OPERATOR AWARENESS TRAINING
This course introduces the principles of safe high-speed craft operations, including craft characteristics, essential systems, operational limitations, navigation awareness, and emergency preparedness. Classroom learning and scenario-based discussions help participants recognize hazards and understand the importance of operating procedures, effective communication, and crew coordination.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
* Identify common HSC types, essential systems, and operational hazards.
* Explain how loading, speed, weather, and sea conditions affect safety.
* Describe the purpose of operating manuals and pre-departure checks.
* Explain basic bridge communication and emergency response principles.
